what does the bible say about being a sevent to others.

First what does discipleship mean.? By definition, a disciple is a follower, one who accepts and assists in spreading the doctrines of another. A Christian disciple is a person who accepts and assists in the spreading of the good news of Jesus Christ. Now in the bible where do we see average people being asked to help others? In the parable of the feeding of the five thousand where jesus asks five thousand people to donate food to feed everyone, in the end they only get some bread and fish but jesus helps all to be fed. Another story is when a man was badly robbed, hurt and then left on the side of the road. 3 people walked by and did not help but one person who was part of a area that was fighting with the area of the man on the road, and the other man took him home and helped him. In the bible peter said as each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace. Also Acts tells us In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.
