The Advent wreath, or Advent crown, is a Christian tradition that symbolizes the passage of the four weeks of Adventin the liturgical calendar of the Western church.

What does advent mean

For Christians, the season of Advent anticipates the coming of Christ from two different perspectives. The season offers the opportunity to share in the ancient longing for the coming of the Messiah, and to be alert for his Second Coming. to me it means waiting time for the birth of jesus.
